The San Diego COASTER Live Train Tracker turns the region’s coastal rail line into a living piece of wall art. Illuminated points along the route update to show the current locations of active trains between Oceanside and downtown San Diego, while a subtle animation helps convey motion along the line.

A front-mounted switch lets you choose between the animated display and a steadier view without losing the live location information. Connect the map to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, plug it in, and keep the route in view from your office, living room, studio, or entryway.

Choose the exposed, technical look of the Core PCB, add a stained wood backboard, or select one of the layered laser-cut wood editions for a warmer, more sculptural finish.

Core PCB Edition

The map in its most technical form. The custom black PCB carries the coastline, topographic linework, station names, route LEDs, and visible electronics in one functional design.

Stained Wood Backboard Edition

The Core PCB mounted on a stained wood backboard. It keeps the modern exposed-circuit look while adding warmth, contrast, and a more finished wall presence.

Engraved Wood Map Edition

A layered stained wood front and back with the coastline and topographic detail engraved into the surface. This edition emphasizes the geography of the route and the natural character of the wood.

Cutout Title Wood Map Edition

A layered stained wood front and back with title cutouts that reveal the contrasting PCB graphics below. This version has the boldest depth and visual contrast of the four editions.
